The Baker Street Victorian Carollers®
is a group of strolling singers bedecked in mid-19th century garb. They blend their harmonies to bring back the memories of Christmases long ago. For those of you familiar with Victorian trivia, the name is derived from the address of one Sherlock Holmes, 221B Baker Street, London, UK. The costumes are meticulously researched and created by Richard Crossman; the harmonies are composed by Sir John Stainer, Sir Arthur Sullivan, and other Victorian musical pillars both of which lend an air of authenticity to the group.

Our quartets of holiday carolers are a harmonious addition to any yuletide gathering - we would be pleased to have any one of our five different quartets entertain you and your guests.

The Baker Street Victorian Carollers® have been featured in CTV and Global news broadcasts and other seasonal events in Hamilton, Brampton, Clarkson, Toronto, Burlington and Markham. Our singers are veterans of musical theatre and opera stage with over 125 years of combined performing experience.

Over the years we have provided seasonal music for a large number of Business Improvement Associations, private family gatherings and corporate events. We have also brought Christmas cheer to many retirement residences.

Let our quartets of holiday carolers be a festive addition to your children's parties, weddings, corporate events, and sing-a-longs; or feature our singers strolling through courtyards, shopping centres, offices, hotel lobbies, museum entrances, or simply on the street. Be creative! If you want us to tailor music to your special event, we can.

The carollers began as a trio of singers in 2005 performing in the Richmond Hill/Unionville area for special Christmas shopping events and Santa Claus parades. The next season saw the addition of private functions to the group's itinerary. In 2007 the group was reorganized and renamed The Baker Street Victorian Carollers and new singers were added as the number of events at which the group performed increased. In 2008 more performances were added, private and public events, including a wedding. The following year a registered trademark was applied for and the group was approached by Disney to perform at the Toronto gala opening of the 3D "A Christmas Carol" (but the Canadian Gala was cancelled before all the details were completed). The Registered Trademark was granted in 2010 and the number of singers has increased to our current roster of over 20 performers, to keep up with the ever-increasing demand for our talents.

We look forward to blending our voices for your Christmas functions. Our upcoming engagements are listed on the Performance Schedule page
